Skills
I do not just teach VA skills, I hire for them. Running an agency means I see exactly which skills clients ask for again and again, and which ones make a VA genuinely hard to replace. If you are deciding what to learn, here is where I would put your energy.
Some skills never go out of demand: inbox and calendar management, clear written communication, organisation and reliability. They sound basic, but a VA who does them consistently well is worth their weight in gold. Get these right before anything else.
Once the foundations are solid, a few skills let you charge more:
Clients pay more for a VA who can own an area, not just complete a list of tasks.
Tools change. The skills that keep clients are communication, judgement, discretion and the ability to anticipate what someone needs before they ask. You cannot download those, but you can build them, and they are what turn a one off task into a long term retainer.
Most of these have free or low cost ways to learn. Use the free versions of the tools, practise on your own admin, and learn properly on the job. You do not need to spend a fortune to become skilled. You need to start and keep going.
The course includes screen by screen walkthroughs of the exact tools and skills clients hire for.
